Llandrinio Village Hall

Llandrinio Village Hall is run by the committee of Llandrinio Village Institute which is a Registered Charity (charity number 218156). The committee includes trustees and non-trustees – but all are volunteers, working  hard to keep this wonderful community asset running.  We are always looking for enthusiastic people to join us, so if you can spare a little time now and again we would love to hear from you.

The Village Hall and Playing Field are available to hire
Prices from £12 per hour

Hall and Kitchen

Llandrinio Village Hall has a spacious main hall, roomy kitchen and bar area with large hatch into the hall, a separate meeting room, ladies and gents toilet facilities, a disabled access toilet and ladies and gents changing rooms with shower facilities.

The kitchen contains a hob and oven, fridge, hot water urn, kettle and microwave and dishwasher.  There is plenty of crockery, cutlery etc for the use of hirers.

The main hall is equipped with a good range of event lighting, so if you are putting on a play or organising a disco, we have the lighting to create that special atmosphere.

Playing Field

We are lucky to have this fantastic playing field, available for everybody’s use.

It can be, and is, used for football, cricket and rounders. It can be hired for many types of events – such as dog shows, fetes, sports days etc.

We are excited to be teaming up with the Cabin to provide a Community Orchard on part of the village hall grounds. This will be a wonderful addition to the community, and will, in the years to come, provide a bounty of fruit for local people. Planting of largely rare Welsh Heritage fruit trees commenced in February 2024.

Everyone is free to use the field for walking and exercise or just sitting and enjoying the glorious view. Of course, if there is an organised event occurring then please respect their usage, as they will have paid a fee for hiring the field. All that we ask is that you clean up after your dog, if you have one, and put your litter in the bin or take it home with you.

Children's Play Area

At the top of the field, near to the hall and carpark, there is a children’s play area. It is surrounded by a hedge and has two gates. The play equipment includes two sets of swings, one for smaller children and one with regular, flat seats. There is also a large slide, a springer and a whirly rider.

It’s a very pleasant place for a picnic with small children.

We ask people to kindly refrain from allowing dogs into the Children’s play area.

The Village Hall Charity Shop

The Charity Shop at the village hall is very important to us. All funds raised go towards the running and maintenance costs of the hall, which, now more than ever, are very high.

Village Hall committee member Mandy, and her small team of volunteers run the shop, which is currently open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 11am and 2 pm. It is also open on a Sunday when there is a Car Boot Sale at the village hall. Mandy and her team are always happy to receive your kind donations of objects and clothes that are in good, resalable condition.

We thank each and every person that has donated items and/or bought from the shop. It is currently located in our committee room, which is just inside the main entrance on the left. We have a large wooden cabin in the car park which we intend to fit out especially to house the shop. Once this is done our committee room will be re-available to hire.
