Powys County Council is the local authority where planning decisions are made.
The community council is a statutory consultee and is notified of planning applications in the wards. Site visits are arranged by the clerk for councillors who are able to attend to meet to decide on a response.
PCC planning department can agree or overule these responses for their final decision.
